Russia Unveils Lancet-E Loitering Munition System at ADEX 2024

Russia’s Lancet-E Loitering Munition: Baku, Azerbaijan – ROSOBORONEXPORT, a subsidiary of Rostec State Corporation, is making a significant debut at the ADEX 2024 International Defence Industry Exhibition. The company is showcasing a wide range of Russian defense products, including the Lancet-E loitering munition system, a weapon that has seen extensive use on the battlefield.

“Russia and the Caspian countries have a long-standing relationship, including in military-technical cooperation,” said Alexander Mikheev, Director General of ROSOBORONEXPORT. “At ADEX 2024, we are presenting battle-proven and modern weaponry to address the security challenges faced by states in the region.”

Lancet-E loitering Munition System

The Lancet-E loitering munition system, the centerpiece of ROSOBORONEXPORT’s exhibit, is designed to engage a variety of targets, including tanks, armored vehicles, fortified positions, and even aircraft. Its effectiveness has been demonstrated in counter-battery warfare and against high-speed targets like off-road vehicles and powerboats.

“The Lancet-E system provides assured engagement of targets, making it a valuable asset for any military,” Mikheev added.

Alongside the Lancet-E, ROSOBORONEXPORT is also showcasing a range of other advanced weapons systems. These include the RP-377VM1 compact jammer, which can suppress radio-control command links of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and satellite navigation and control links of commercial UAVs. The company is also presenting the Item RB-504P-E, a counter-UAV system capable of detecting and jamming drone communication and navigation links.

Russia exhibits Su-35 fighter, Ka-52E attack helicopter

For the air force, ROSOBORONEXPORT is offering the Su-35 multirole fighter, Ka-52E scout/attack helicopter, Mi-17V-5 military transport helicopter, and the Orlan-10E reconnaissance UAV. For ground forces, the company is showcasing the T-90MS MBT, Terminator BMPT tank support fighting vehicle, modernized Msta-S self-propelled howitzer, and the S-400 Triumf long-range SAM system.

Rubezh-ME coastal tactical missile system

For naval forces, ROSOBORONEXPORT is presenting the Rubezh-ME coastal tactical missile system, which can detect and engage targets from a single platform.

In addition to these weapons systems, ROSOBORONEXPORT is also showcasing a wide range of optical and electro-optical products, including sights, surveillance devices, and special weapons.

The company is optimistic about its prospects at ADEX 2024 and is keen to explore opportunities for cooperation with the armed forces and other security agencies in the region.
