Defence News India: Indian Air Force Chief Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria on Monday issued a stern warning to Pakistan saying that it should be worried of a retaliation if the country suffers a terror attack linked to Pakistan.
“Whenever there is a terrorist attack on our soil, Pakistan should be worried and they were rightly worried,” said Air Force Chief RKS Bhadauria in response to a question whether Indian Air Force was ready to launch a similar air strike on Pakistan based terror camps as the IAF conducted in February last year.
“They (Pakistanis) have to stop abetting terrorism in India if they have to get out of these worries,” said IAF Chief RKS Bhadauria.
The stern warning came after India saw terror attacks in Jammu & Kashmir in recent times as Indian armed forces were engaged in helping the civilian authorities in the country’s fight against the novel corona virus.
The Covid-19 virus has killed nearly 3,000 people in the country while the number of confirmed cases jumped to nearly 1,00,000 cases.
RKS Bhadauria issues a stern warning to Pakistan
Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria told a news agency that Indian Air Force was ready to counter any threat across the border and attack terror facilities and launch pads across the border.
“If the situation demands so, of course, Indian Air Force is ready 24×7,” he said.

India has lost several senior army officers and soldiers in the terror hit Jammu & Kashmir region in recent months.
Earlier this year on the occasion of the first anniversary of Balakot air strike, India’s defence minister Rajnath Singh had said that now the country did not hesitate in crossing the border.
He had said that the country’s action sent a clear message to the neighbour.
“If we’ve to be prepared for the tasks assigned to us, then it’s important that we maintain credible deterrence at land, air and sea at all times,” Rajnath Singh had said.
In February last year, Indian Air Force attacked a terror camp operated by Pakistan based terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) to avenge the killing of 40 personnel of Indian paramilitary force the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Pulwama district of Jammu & Kashmir.

It resulted in aerial skirmishes between Indian Air Force (IAF) and Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and one Indian Mig 21 fighter was shot down while repulsing a Pakistani attack.
India said that it shot down an F-16 of Pakistan’s Air Force, a claim contested by Pakistan.
