Schiebel Secures Third EMSA Contract for CAMCOPTER S-100 UAS: Vienna, Austria – January 23, 2025 – Schiebel has been awarded another multi-year service contract by the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) for the deployment of its CAMCOPTER S-100 Unmanned Air System (UAS). This marks the third consecutive contract between Schiebel and EMSA, underscoring the continued success of the S-100 in supporting European maritime operations.
The new contract, spanning two years with an option for an additional two-year extension, will see Schiebel provide RPAS services to assist EU member states in vital maritime surveillance and emission monitoring activities. Since 2018, Schiebel’s S-100 UAS has accumulated over 1780 deployment days across Europe, supporting missions in Croatia, France, Finland, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Romania, Lithuania, Iceland, Germany, and Belgium.

CAMCOPTER S-100’s Key Missions
Deployed from both land and sea-based platforms, the S-100 performs a wide range of critical tasks, including:

Oil Spill Detection: Rapid identification and assessment of oil spills to facilitate timely response.
