Hindustan Aeronautics Limited: India’s public sector aircraft manufacturer Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has appointed Alok Verma as the Director (Human Resources) of the company. Alok Verma was working with the HAL as General Manager (HR) at its Corporate Office and has played key role in employee-management negotiation to settle the vexed the issue of wage-revision which resulted in more than two weeks long strike at the company late last year.
“In these challenging times my focus would be on developing the HR function as a strategic contributor to business outcomes with new initiatives”, Alok Verma said.
His endeavor has been to develop systems that seek to create a learning organization and a performance driven culture.

Alok Verma joined HAL in 2006 after serving National Fertilizers Limited for 19 years.
A post-graduate in Labor and Social Work (LSW), he also holds Law degree and PG diploma in computer applications. He has vast and diverse experience of over three decades in the HR function.

He was instrumental in transforming the Employee-Management relations at Hyderabad Division and played a key-role in settlement of the workmen wage revision and signing of the MoU, recently.
