India’s defence export: India’s defence exports have crossed $5 billion (Rs 38,000 crore) mark in the last seven years with more than 10,000 Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) having joined the defence sector and there has been an increase in research and development, start-ups, innovation and employment, defence minister Rajnath Singh said on Thursday.
