MRSAM Missile: Israel’s state owned defence company IAI and India’s apex defence research organization DRDO Thursday announced successful completion of a series of testfiring of MRSAM air and missile defense system trials in India. The trials included a series of four MRSAM interceptions – two by the land-based MRSAM system, and two by the naval-based MRSAM system, operated from Indian Navy ships.

Pratt & Whitney Bengaluru Capability Centre: Aircraft engine manufacturer Pratt & Whitney Thursday announced its plans to open a new global supply chain support center in India’s IT capital Bengaluru. The India Capability Center (ICC) in Bengaluru in southern state of Karnataka will employ hundreds of analysts and data scientists to augment Pratt & Whitney’s global supply chain, focused on digital capabilities, said the company.
The defence equipments include night vision devices, light all terrain vehicles, fire control radars and an indigenously designed and developed satellite by the Indian Space Research Organization.
Rheinmetall CH-53G Helicopter Maintenance Contract: German defence giant Rheinmetall has won a contract from the Bundeswehr to look after, maintain and repair German Air Force’s Sikorsky CH-53G transport helicopters at two additional bases, the company said on Tuesday.

India Friday confirmed that a missile which was accidently fired during a routine maintenance exercise landed inside Pakistan due to malfunction. “On 9 March 2022, in the course of a routine maintenance, a technical malfunction led to the accidental firing of a missile,” India’s ministry of defence said in a statement issued on Friday evening.
Indian Army Helicopter Crash: A Cheetah helicopter of Indian Army on its way to pick up sick personnel of India’s border guarding force – Border Security Force (BSF) – crashed near the Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir’s Gurez Sector on Friday.
