The defence equipments include night vision devices, light all terrain vehicles, fire control radars and an indigenously designed and developed satellite by the Indian Space Research Organization.
Rheinmetall CH-53G Helicopter Maintenance Contract: German defence giant Rheinmetall has won a contract from the Bundeswehr to look after, maintain and repair German Air Force’s Sikorsky CH-53G transport helicopters at two additional bases, the company said on Tuesday.
The Satcom terminals are based on AESA (Active Electronic Scanned Array) technology, and are installed on advanced 4.5 generation Western fighter jets. The ground-breaking technology is currently on display at Satellite 2022, in Washington D.C.
Exercise Dustlik 2022 would focus on Counter Terrorism operations in semi-urban terrain under a United Nations Mandate. The training schedule will focus primarily on sharing of tactical level drills and learning of best practices from each other.
