Public sector defence manufacturer Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has paid a total dividend of 200 per cent to Government of India for financial Year 2017-18.
M V Gowtama, chairman and managing director of BEL presented the 40 per cent final dividend cheque for Rs. 64.41 crore for the year 2017-18, payable on the shares held by the President of India, to defence minister Nirmala Sitharaman in New Delhi on Thursday.

Interim dividend of 160 per cent (on face value of Re. 1 per equity share) was paid by the company to Government of India in February 2018.
