India-Israel DRISHTI Programme: Hyderabad, India – In a significant stride towards technological advancement and strategic partnership, India and Israel have unveiled the DRISHTI program. This groundbreaking initiative aims to strengthen bilateral ties between the two nations, fostering innovation, strategic partnerships, and the development of cutting-edge technologies.

The DRISHTI program, an acronym for Dual-use Robust India-Israel High-Tech Innovation, is a joint venture between the Israel Ministry of Defense (IMOD) Directorate of Defense Research & Development (DDR&D) and T-Hub, a globally renowned innovation hub based in Hyderabad. T-Hub, with its extensive network of startups, academia, and industry partners, has been instrumental in nurturing over 2,000 startups, particularly in the fields of AI, deep tech, and drones.

DRISHTI Programme: Centre of Excellence to be set up at T-Hub

A key component of the DRISHTI program is the establishment of a Center of Excellence (CoE) within T-Hub. This CoE will serve as a platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and the acceleration of innovative projects. One of the core initiatives housed within the CoE is the India Market Access Program (IMAP).

IMAP offers Israeli companies a unique opportunity to tap into India’s burgeoning defense and technology markets. By participating in IMAP, Israeli companies will gain exclusive access to a vast network of public and private sector organizations, receive tailored mentorship, and benefit from strategic guidance to navigate the complexities of the Indian market.

Golan Malka, Head of the Dual-Use Unit at the IMOD’s DDR&D, expressed enthusiasm about the program, stating, “The DRISHTI program is a testament to the strong bond between our two nations.
