Elbit System CUAS Order for Nato Member: Elbit Systems Ltd., a leading Israeli defense electronics company, has been awarded a contract worth approximately $60 million to supply its advanced counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS) solution to a NATO European country. The contract will be fulfilled over a three-year period.
This significant win for Elbit Systems underscores the growing concern among NATO countries regarding the rising threat posed by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), also known as drones.
Elbit Systems’ ReDrone C-UAS Takes Center Stage
As per the contract, Elbit Systems will provide its ReDrone™ modular C-UAS solution, a comprehensive system designed to counter drone threats effectively. The ReDrone solution integrates several advanced technologies from Elbit Systems’ portfolio, including:
DAiR Radar: This cutting-edge radar system offers superior detection and tracking capabilities for drones.
SIGINT (Signal Intelligence) Sensors: These sensors enable the ReDrone system to intercept and analyze drone communication signals, providing valuable intelligence.
EW (Electronic Warfare) Countermeasures: The system is equipped with electronic warfare countermeasures to disrupt drone control signals and neutralize drone threats.
EO (Electro-Optical) Day/Night Payload: This payload allows for visual identification and tracking of drones even in low-light conditions.
