Rafael displays C-UAS and Trophy APS at AUSA 2024:  Washington, D.C. – Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd., a global leader in aerospace and defense solutions, is set to showcase its latest capabilities at the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) 2024 conference, taking place from October 14-16.

One of the highlights of Rafael’s display will be its unique modular Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) capabilities. This comprehensive solution combines advanced detection and interception technologies to provide ground forces with robust protection against a wide range of airborne threats, including unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

The C-UAS system incorporates the Lite Beam laser-based interception system and the Samson 30mm Remote Weapon Station (RWS) mounted on a 4-wheeled platform. This combination offers maneuvering forces flexibility and adaptability in countering evolving threats.

In addition to the C-UAS capabilities, Rafael will also showcase the enhanced capabilities of its TROPHY Active Protection System (APS). TROPHY has proven effective against a range of modern threats, including anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs), rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs), and UAVs. The system has successfully neutralized aerial threats such as drones, providing comprehensive protection for armored vehicles against both ground and air threats.

TROPHY’s cutting-edge technology is operational on over a dozen platforms worldwide, including Armored Personnel Carriers (APCs), Armored Fighting Vehicles (AFVs), and Main Battle Tanks (MBTs). Its adaptability and reliability in complex combat scenarios have made it a valuable asset for armed forces around the globe.
