Saab Wins German Order for Taurus Missile Maintenance and Modernization: Stockholm, Sweden – Saab, a leading defense and security company, has been awarded a substantial contract worth SEK 1.7 billion for the maintenance and modernization of the TAURUS KEPD 350 cruise missile. The order, received from TAURUS Systems, a joint venture between MBDA Germany and Saab, was initially placed by Germany’s defense procurement office (BAAINBw). “TAURUS KEPD 350 enables the user to defeat targets at long ranges required for the most demanding air operations. The latest upgrades will provide the German Air Force with significant improvements,” stated Görgen Johansson, Head of Saab’s business area Dynamics.
