Kongsberg’s JSM Missile for US Air Force F-35 Fighter Jet: Oslo, Norway – January 27, 2025 – Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace has received a significant boost to its Joint Strike Missile (JSM) program with a $70 million contract modification from the U.S. Department of Defense. This award brings the total contract value for JSM deliveries to the U.S. Air Force to $208 million, solidifying the missile’s position as a key component of the U.S. defense arsenal.
This latest contract solidifies a partnership initiated in June 2024 when Kongsberg signed an Undefinitized Contract Action (UCA) with the U.S. Air Force for the initial delivery of JSM missiles for their F-35A aircraft. This initial contract, valued at $141 million, marked a significant milestone for both Kongsberg and the U.S. Air Force.
