Developed in collaboration with Thales Group‘s Belgian subsidiary FZ, the unguided 70mm rockets are specifically designed for the Tiger combat helicopter. The helicopter fires these rockets from pods for training purposes, simulating engagements with infantry targets, ground positions, and lightly armored vehicles.

This new contract reinforces Rheinmetall‘s position as a leading European developer and producer of munitions. The practice rockets will provide Bundeswehr helicopter crews with realistic training scenarios to enhance their combat readiness.
