US Army awards Lockheed Martin major order for PAC-3 Missiles: Grand Prairie, TX – November 14, 2024 – In a move driven by the rapidly growing global demand for advanced missile defense systems, the U.S. Army has awarded Lockheed Martin a significant contract to increase production capacity for the PAC-3 Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE). This strategic partnership aims to deliver 650 PAC-3 MSEs per year, bolstering global security with the world’s most advanced missile defense technology.
“The PAC-3 MSE‘s combat-proven deterrence capabilities are in high demand, and this demand is escalating quickly,” said Brian Kubik, Vice President of PAC-3 Programs at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control.
He elaborated on Lockheed Martin’s proactive approach: “To address this increasing demand, we began expanding PAC-3 MSE production capacity over a year ago, utilizing internal funding to bolster our factories and supply chain capabilities. Additionally, we’re investing in implementing lean and agile processes to ensure the most efficient delivery of this critical product to our partners.”

By the end of 2024, the company will have surpassed yet another milestone, exceeding the production of 500 PAC-3 MSE missiles – a new production high. Recently, the team also celebrated the completion of the program’s 2,000th PAC-3 MSE missile, signifying a significant landmark in the program’s history.
