Indian Navy’s MH60 Romeo Seahawk helicopter: On the occasion of Indian Navy Day, US defence and aviation giant Lockheed Martin Friday unveiled the first picture of its MH-60 Romeo multirole helicopter for the Indian Navy.

Every year, India celebrates December 4 as the Navy Day to mark the Indian Navy’s heroic attack on Karachi port during India-Pakistan war of 1971.

India placed the orders for 24 MH60 under a government-to-government deal with the US during the US President Donald Trump’s maiden India visit in February this year.

In a $3 billion deal, India ordered 24 MH60 Romeo submarine hunter helicopters for Indian Navy and 6 Boeing Apache tank killer attack helicopters for the Indian Army.
