GRSE Bags MPV Contract from Germany’s Carsten Rehder: Kolkata/Hamburg, Germany – Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) Ltd. has signed a contract with Carsten Rehder Schiffsmakler and Reederei GmbH & Co. KG, Germany, on March 24, 2025, for the construction and delivery of the 7th and 8th Multi-Purpose Vessels (MPV) of 7,500 DWT. The agreement, signed in Hamburg, Germany, represents a continuation of the “Option Agreement” between the two parties, bringing the total order to eight vessels with an approximate value of US $108 million.

Ashok Leyland Bags Rs 700 Crore Indian Army Vehicle Order: Chennai, India – Hinduja Group’s Ashok Leyland announced on Friday that its defence business has been awarded multiple orders valued at over Rs 700 crore ($81.9 million) to supply a range of logistics vehicles to the Indian Army. Deliveries of these vehicles are scheduled to commence in the next financial year.
